We’re Tyler and Kala Headley, the proud owners and founders of Headley Hat Co. Our journey began in 2020 with our first venture, Lala Links Jewelry. The experience of creating something we loved—and seeing others enjoy it—sparked a passion for building brands that bring people joy. That spark turned into a full-blown obsession, and in 2022, Headley Hat Company was born.

Our mission from day one has been simple: to craft high-quality, custom hats while offering a hands-on, engaging experience for every customer. What started as pop-ups in our hometown of Springfield, Missouri—where we customized wide-brim hats and trucker hats—quickly grew into something bigger than we ever imagined.

Soon, we brought Headley Hat Co. to Seaside, Florida, and that’s when the magic really happened. Our little shop in Seaside’s famous Pop-Up District became a hub of creativity and connection. We had the pleasure of customizing thousands of wide-brim straw and wool hats, helping visitors design pieces as unique as they are.

In April 2025, we took a big step forward by opening a larger storefront in Seaside, expanding both our space and our offerings. Today, Headley Hat Co. continues to grow, combining quality craftsmanship, personal customization, and a playful approach to style that keeps our customers coming back for more. Our new storefront includes two custom hat bars, a full custom trucker hat bar, Tecovas western boots, custom branded leather goods, home goods, and more!
